As we start the new year the idea of creating shifts in our lives comes to the surface. New Years is a great time to reflect and think about the habits that we have created. Our habits show us what our lives are about. When thinking through habits we must look at both sides of habits. We have good habits and we have poor habits.
In the book Atomic Habits they share advice about habit stacking. When you replace a poor habit with a new and beneficial habit following a previous habit in your day, positive results may come, When we learn how to stack habits that are beneficial we have a higher chance of continuing them forward.
What habits from last year do you want to keep? What habits do you want to replace and how can you habit stack them?
The 5 main areas to assess:
Emotional
Spiritual
Mental
Occupationally
Relationally
Happy Reflection.
